Lee’s Summit T-Bone Croquet Tournament Registration Deadline Tuesday

Last call! This evening at 6 p.m. is the deadline to enter to play in the Lee’s Summit T-Bone Croquet Tournament this Saturday, May 6, at Howard Park.

Email MCA president Dylan Goodwin at kccroquetclub@gmail.com, or mark, "Going," on the Facebook event page to register. Please indicate your preferred division.

Depending on how many outstanding players register today, divisions below may be adjusted slightly for scheduling purposes. For example, it is possible that a Gold Division player will be asked to play up in the Pro Division to balance the division size. Similarly, the Gold and Silver divisions might be combined during morning play to feed Gold and Silver playoff berths. Final division alignments and schedules will be released closer to the tournament.

2017 Rules Updates Coming This Week

Watch midwestcroquet.com on Wednesday night for the release of an updated beta version of the 2017 MCA Nine Wicket Series rule book.

Expect one significant rule change for this season. The rules subcommittee has decided to use the alternate corner peg court format, which will be familiar to anyone who has played at the KC Open 9WS event hosted by Kactus Creek Croquet Club the last few years. All 2017 MCA 9WS events will be trial periods for the alternate corner peg positions.

Most other updates in the rule book are additions to address “unwritten” nine wicket rules.
